For homework in Hebrew, we had to write a short note "to the teacher explaining why we weren't in class last week." In class today, while we were doing a worksheet, the TA was reading through our answers and burst out laughing when she read mine. Eventually she had me read it out loud to the class and translate it.

This is the part I read in class:

Teacher,

I'm very sorry I didn't come to class last week, but you bore me. I thought, "If I'm going to sleep, I want to do it in my room and not in class."
