What next? Revival of Teutonic theory?

Say what?
Two Anglo-Saxon traits, deeply ingrained in the American ethos, will inevitably upset the ambitions of gay marriage advocates: First, a traditional opposition to cultural tyranny and, second, a respect for marriage, the most basic institution of human social organization.

Uh, wow. I thought we were long past the time of ascribing traits to "Anglo-Saxons", but apparently not. Hey, at least this guy agrees with prior writers that Anglo-Saxons love liberty and hate tyranny, but apparently only for themselves--not enough to give the same rights to others, like gays.

I'm so flabbergasted by that statement that I'm not even going to bother ripping apart the rest of the inanity in that article.
