Sunday Dead Racist Blogging: Im in ur dreams, stealing ur women

Sort of a follow-up to this post. By reading this article on lynching, I found an article from the Atlanta Constitution on September 6, 1906:

NEGRO, SEEN IN DREAM, CAUSES DEATH OF GIRL

Crazed with a frenzy of fright at the dream that a negro was trying to kill her, Miss Annie Morgan was overcome with an attack of heart trouble and died within a few minutes.

Crying out in her fright, Miss Morgan ran out of her room shouting "A big negro is standing over my bed trying to kill me with a knife," then she sank to the floor unconscious and died in a few minutes after a physician was summoned.
